Alauda

Alauda Ruiz de Azúa graduated in Cinema Direction from the ECAM (Madrid Cinema School) in 2005.

After school, she worked as assistant director and script supervisor in TV series and movies for the production company Globomedia.

She has written and directed three short films: “Clases Particulares” (Private Lessons, 2005); “Lo Importante” (The Main Thing, 2006) and “Dicen” (They Say, 2011). At the moment, “They say” has won 41 national and international awards.

She began her career as director of commercials at Cuatro Cabezas Films. In 2009, she started working for Garage Films, where she shot commercials for brands such as: Mahou Beer, Spanish Lottery, ONCE…

In 2012, she, along with two other partners, forms her own production company: Igloo Films. She has recently directed commercials for Coca Cola, McDonalds, AXA. Toyota, Burger King…
